IMPROVED TURNOVER
Banyan Virtual Care aids bedside nurse health and well-being.

Because We Care

Anthony Finkral, Marketing Coordinator

BANYAN focuses on making an impact in the Omaha community through our corporate volunteer program, Because We Care.

“The More that you Read, the more you Know. The more that you Learn, the more places you’ll go” -Dr. Seuss

Recently, BANYAN’s Human Resources team had the chance to volunteer at Girls Inc. of Omaha in support of city wide United Way of the Midlands Day of Action to promote summer learning and reduce “Summer Slide”.

If a child does not read at grade level by the end of 3rd grade, he or she is four times more likely to drop out of high school. Our HR team read at Girls Inc. of Omaha and had a great experience meeting all the talented girls there.

BANYAN gives back.

At BANYAN we care about giving back to our community. That has involved volunteering our time, donating toys and food, and donating money to worthy causes. The city of Omaha has given so much to us that we want to do the same.

Below are photos of the BANYAN team being involved with the community. Top to bottom; Volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, Donating to the Big Brothers Big Sisters — Bowl for Kids’ Sake, and donating food at the Foodbank for the Heartland.
