Banyan expands to Tampa, Florida

Banyan Medical Solutions has announced the grand opening of a new virtual nursing center in Tampa, Florida opening today, May 23, 2022. With the expansion of this new center located just east of the Tampa International Airport, the company’s virtual nurses will utilize this new hub to continue to provide virtual nursing services to hospital systems around the country. 

With the virtual care platform, Banyan can deliver remote nursing staffing solutions that improve patient outcomes and increase staffing efficiencies. Banyan’s state of the art technology allows the virtual nurses to assist with administrative tasks that include:

  • Patient education
  • 24-hour chart checks
  • Discharges
  • Family member conference calls
  • Continuous fall monitoring with patient redirection
  • Environmental and staff safety rounding

From these various remote locations in Omaha and Tampa, the virtual nursing platform allows hospitals nationwide, to coordinate clinical teams, patient care, and technology support by enabling the sharing and validation of real-time information. This solution provides each patient with an additional RN that allows hospitals to decrease traveler costs, turnover, and readmissions, which results in an increase in revenue.
